Universal Onboarding
From Connect to standing in the city, in one flow.
In development
Universal Onboarding is not on sale yet. Its installation guide, configuration reference and exports will appear here the day it launches. Follow progress on the Discord.
Loading screen, rules, character select, and spawn picker in one resource. Other scripts each sell one character-select style; Universal Onboarding ships three (a cinematic scene, a spotlit lineup, and a mugshot board) and you pick. The server decides every step, and new characters go straight to your appearance script. Fully standalone, and themed with the rest of the suite when it's installed.
What it does
- The world never pops in. Your brand, a background slideshow or video, music with a remembered mute, rotating tips, and a news card, with progress driven by FiveM's own loading events. It stays up until the next screen is ready underneath.
- Rules players actually read. Accept unlocks only after the player has scrolled to the end and spent the read time on the page, and the server checks the time too. An optional quiz is graded on the server, acceptance is stored per license, and editing the rules asks everyone again.
- Scene, lineup, or mugshot board. you pick: Scene stages one character at a time with a slow camera push and a title card. Lineup puts every character side by side under spotlights. Board takes a booking photo of each character on entry. Choose one in config, or let players switch.
- A spawn picker that flies you in. The last location plus your own points, which can be limited by job or kept for new characters. The camera flies over each option as the player hovers it, then descends out of the sky onto the player.
- The server decides every step. Read time, quiz answers, names, dates of birth, character slots, and spawn points are all checked on the server, and spawn coordinates never reach the client. Grant extra slots by ace, and walk the whole flow with /onboarding preview without logging out.
- Qbox, QBCore, and ESX, detected automatically. New characters are handed to Universal Appearance when it's installed, or to illenium-appearance, fivem-appearance, qb-clothing, or esx_skin. With no framework at all, it still runs the loading screen, rules, and spawn picker.
