Updating
How to move to a new version without losing your settings.
- Download the new version from Keymaster.
- Back up your current
shared/config.lua. - Replace the resource folder with the new one.
- Compare your backup with the new
shared/config.luaand copy your changes across. New options appear with their defaults, so a straight copy of your old file can miss them. - If the download includes a newer
universal_bridge, replace your copy of that too. - Restart the server.
Saved themes live on the server, not in the resource folder, so the live theme editor's work survives an update.
The version you're running is the version line in the resource's fxmanifest.lua. Leave that line intact, and include it whenever you ask for support.
